About INVOID Studios

INVOID Studios is a handcrafted lab-grown diamond jewelry studio based in Singapore. We make pieces that are meant to be worn — daily, on skin, in the world — not stored as milestones or markers of someone else's expectations.

What we do

Every piece is hand-forged after your order is placed. There is no inventory shelf. Each ring, cuff, bangle, or pendant is shaped by a maker who sets each stone by hand — bezel by bezel, pavé by pavé — and signs it off before it leaves the studio. Fabrication typically takes two weeks, then three to ten days transit from Singapore.

We use lab-grown diamonds, lab-grown sapphires, lab-grown emeralds, and selectively-sourced jade. Lab-grown stones are chemically and optically identical to mined stones — same carbon crystal for diamond, same corundum for sapphire — at roughly 30 to 70 percent less cost. Why "signal jewelry"

Most jewelry is sold as ceremony — engagement, anniversary, milestone, status. INVOID is not interested in that register. Our position is that a diamond is more interesting as a personal signal — a piece chosen by the wearer, for the wearer, worn daily as a private mark rather than a public announcement. The collection name says it directly: SIGNAL 01 / NO CEREMONY.

Practically this changes design choices. We bezel-set instead of claw-set so stones meet metal flush and clear a sleeve. We size for everyday hands. We size cuffs to slide on without a clasp. We don't engrave anniversary dates. We don't gift-wrap proposals.

The studio

INVOID Studios was founded in 2026 in Singapore by Echoes — a maker who grew up around a family jewelry design studio in China that has been making fine jewelry since the 1980s, and settled in Singapore early. The family studio is still there: bezel-setting, stone selection by eye, hand-polishing — the quiet trade that does not translate to a brochure.

INVOID is what happens when that inheritance meets a different generation in a different city. Same hand, different register — lab-grown where the family used mined, daily wear where the family made for ceremony. Not a continuation of the family business; a new brand for the people who inherited the craft but refused the script.

The studio works from a small space in Bugis, central Singapore. Each piece is forged on site after order. Workshop visits are by appointment only — email or WhatsApp the studio to arrange.

Sourcing

Every lab-grown stone INVOID sets ships with an IGI or GIA report stating it is laboratory-grown and giving its full 4C grade — same paperwork that follows a mined diamond. We work with suppliers whose facilities document grid mix and renewable share, because the lab-grown footprint depends almost entirely on where the electricity comes from. Jade for the SGN-005 Cross Pendant is hand-selected Type A (no enhancement, no polymer injection) sourced directly from a long-standing supplier in the region.
